Melanie and I have been long-time supporters and big believers in the Boys and Girls Club. It has always been our belief that if you invest in a child today, the rewards will bear fruit tomorrow.

A couple of years ago, we talked at length about how we could make a meaningful difference at the Boys and Girls Club. We realized that we could make a significant gift to the club, but that its long-term impact might not be realized because of the agency’s daily financial needs.

After talking with several local advisors, we set up a fund at the Community Foundation of East Mississippi for the Boys and Girls Club. For us, it made perfect sense because it gave us the opportunity to accomplish a number of goals:
